David Foster

Caring for our local community with philanthropic outreach is part of the culture at David Foster Construction. After years of living around the world, David moved his business home to Napa in 1999 to reconnect with his community, and to give back. In addition to volunteering with various local causes like Wine, Women and Shoes, Cause for the Paws which benefits The Napa Humane and several youth organizations, David has been a CASA Advocate for two years. “My involvement with CASA has been incredibly rewarding – more rewarding than I could ever have imagined,” says David. “It’s made a huge difference in my own life, as well as the lives of the children I advocate for.”

In 2006, David was the keynote speaker for graduation at Valley Oak High School, formerly Temescal High School, his alma mater. “It is huge to know I can be an inspiration to students who, like me, didn’t have the easiest time of it in high school,” he says.

David and his partners continue to support Valley Oak High School, CASA, and other youth organizations. They hope their work will inspire others to join in giving back.
